Diocesan School for Girls – Tree Planting
Girls from Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland dedicate some of their Community Service hours to a very good cause – tree planting on Motuihe Island. Over 300,000 trees have been planted on Motuihe Island since the restoration project began in 2000 and students from Diocesan School have been lending a helping hand for years. Not only is Motuihe Island a beautiful spot to visit, being a volunteer there is a fantastic way for students to give back to their community and form a connection with the land.
